meet Belén

What are your pronouns?

she/her

What do you practice for?

I practice yoga to create a space where people can reconnect with themselves and explore movement with curiosity and care.

My hope is that everyone leaves the mat with something they can carry into their everyday life. A deeper breath, a sense of calm, or simply the experience of being present.

What’s your teaching style?

Gentle, empowering guidance that holds space for you to move, breathe, and tune into your body.

There’s no single “right” way to practice. Just the opportunity to move with awareness, feel supported, and discover what feels true for you.

What languages do you speak?

English, Spanish, Danish & Portuguese — and I’m currently learning Te Reo Māori, so feel free to teach me some new kupu.

what can people expect in your class?

A Hatha–Vinyasa flow that gradually builds warmth while encouraging a steady connection between breath and movement.

You can expect a calm, welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful guidance and space to move at your own rhythm. Whether you're completely new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you’ll find room to explore, pause, and reconnect.

What’s your go-to track?

Guacamayo – Danit

What’s a Fun fact or something personal you want people to know about you:

When I’m not at the studio, I work as an ocean mapping specialist researching the seafloor and the marine environment.

I also love being in or near Te Moana. My latest obsession is long-distance ocean swimming — I’m currently training with the goal of swimming from Rangitoto to Auckland.
